Council on Aging
The Osceola Library System will be hosting digital literacy workshops at the Osceola Council on Aging throughout the month of November!
These workshops are free and open to the public. Each workshop will help you build skills and confidence with technology! Topics that are going to be discussed are: video conferencing, Android basics, and iPhone basics. There will also be goodie bags and a grand prize to win!
Here are the following dates for the workshops:
November 10 at 10am: Video Conferencing
November 17 at 10am: Android Basics
November 30 at 10am: iPhone Basics
Hart Memorial Library
The Library’s central branch location will also be hosting digital literacy workshops every Wednesday, starting on November 29 at 10am.
Just like the workshops at the Council on Aging, learn and develop you technology skills that will help you in your everyday life. These workshops re free and open to the public! There will also be goodie bags and prizes available.

December 6 at 10am: Video Conferencing
December 13 at 10am: Android Basics
December 22 at 10am: iPhone Basics
The Library is among the 215 public libraries nationwide awarded funding by the Public Library Association this year to conduct digital literacy workshops using the DigitalLearn resources. The PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T, provides support to libraries of all sizes to conduct workshops using DigitalLearn training materials on up to 8 topics designed to help patrons build skills and confidence using technology.
