Tours & Field Trips
The Osceola Library System is a great place to bring your students! All field trips will include a Library tour and an activity that typically lasts for about an hour. Library visits are arranged on a first come, first served basis, and are subject to staff and room availability.
Scheduling Guidelines
- All requests must be made at least 60 days in advance of the Library visit date.
- Rooms will only be booked when the field trip has been confirmed via email.
- Activities included in the visit and contact information are listed below for each Library location.
To make a request, please include the following information in your email:
- Grade(s) visiting
- Number of students
- Possible dates and times
- If you want student Library cards
- Choice of activity, if applicable
Student Library Cards
A great way to end a Library field trip is for students to check out books to take home!
Homeschoolers and private school students should use the process listed below:
- Print out the Student Library Card Application below for every student age 15 and younger who would like a Library card.
- Parents must fill out the application and provide a copy of their valid photo ID. For students who live outside of Osceola County, place the school address on the application.
- Student Library Card Applications and copies of parent valid photo IDs must be dropped off at the Library you are visiting at least 2 weeks before the field trip date. Library cards will be given to the students present at the Library on your field trip. Please remind students who already have an Osceola Library Card to bring them.
