Our Patrons Appreciate Us
Read what our patrons had to say about why they love the Library!
I don’t even know where to start. We have a place to just exist without spending money. I’m a teenager and everybody tells me to get off the phone but I have nowhere to go. I live in a gated community far away from any entertainment. So when I go to the library right next to the park, I taste freedom. I touch the pages and just stare at how many seats and chairs we have. I marvel at our manga and comic collection. This library is my haven in Florida where so many books are being pulled off the shelves due to proto-fascism. And I adore how my student id, I can access all the books. It brings great peace to my heart. Thank you librarians for working so hard to make this place run. I appreciate it. It’s a collapsing world out there but the library—I can have a taste of peace.
I love the library for providing free weekly activities for my child. I also love that no matter how tight our budget is, we can go every week and bring home a new haul of books without costing us anything. It is the one place I can feel rich.
I love being able to check out new releases as well as ebooks for my kindle. Just going to the library and browsing the shelves always makes me feel better after a long day.
The library gives me a safe, quiet place with many available resources to tutor students. We enjoy the tables as well as the private rooms and computers.
