Submit your original short story, poem, and/or artwork for a chance to be featured in LitMag, the Osceola Literary Magazine! 

This year’s theme is Gone Missing. Explore the idea of something – or someone – vanishing, whether it’s a lost object, a forgotten memory, or person who has disappeared. Whether it’s a suspenseful mystery or a heartfelt story, let your creativity shine as you interpret the theme.

A commemorative magazine will be available at all Osceola Library System branch locations and a digital version published on BiblioBoard. One winning artist will have their artwork featured on the magazine’s cover!

Published within the magazine will be the written and art selections chosen by our special guest judges. All other eligible entries will be included on BiblioBoard within Osceola Library’s Community Collections.

Published authors or artists will be invited to a reception for a live presentation of their creations.

Submissions will be accepted Wednesday, January 1 – Friday, January 31, 2025. Open to kids and teens ages 8-17.
