Pride Month started over 30 years ago with the Stonewall Uprising in New York City. With a proclamation from former President Clinton in 1999, “gays and lesbians, their families and friends, celebrate the anniversary of Stonewall every June in America as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month.”
The Osceola Library System is celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride Month with inspiring programs for both youth and adults! The Library also has books and eResources that you’re able to check out as well.
