Veterans Memorial Library-St. Cloud Branch will be hosting an Earth Day Celebration 10am-2pm, Saturday, April 22. The celebration is in partnership with the City of St. Cloud, and will be hosted inside the St. Cloud Library, with vendors and other organizations in the parking lot outside.
This event is a great opportunity to learn about environmental issues and sustainability from various organizations. The Fisk Room at the St. Cloud Library will host 3 hours of revolving mini-presentations from organizations including:
- Pine Lily Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society
- Cloud Fire Rescue
- Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures
- Love Makes Me Grow
- Adventures in Geocaching
Bring documents and paperwork that need to be shredded, learn about Florida native plants from the Native Plant Society, and create Earth Day inspired crafts for both adults and kids!
While you’re there, don’t miss the butterfly enclosure from Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures!
Stay tuned for more information as the Earth Day Celebration approaches!
