The Osceola Library System is excited to announce our new database, Candid!

Candid gets you the information you need to do good. Formed in 2019, this database connects people who want to change the world with the resources they need to do it.

Within the Candid database, the Library allows patrons to access 3 products including: Guidestar Pro, Foundation Directory, and Grants to Individuals.

Guidestar Pro is where you can access 2million+ nonprofit profiles to support your research activities. With Guidestar Pro, you can research outstanding parternship opportunities, comprehensive nonprofit profiles, and explore the best practices to aid strategic planning. Foundation Directory gives you access to the information you need to be smart and strategic with your funding requests. The tools available on Foundation Directory allow you to tap funding opportunities beyond open Requests for Proposals (RFPS) that make up less than 1% of total foundation funding. Digging deeper is critical to your fundraising success. (In library use only. Not accessible remotely. You do not need an account to use database.)

Grants to Individuals includes profiles of 10,000 grant makers with details on funders that provide scholarships, fellowships, grants, and a wide range of financial support to individuals such as students. (In library use only. Not accessible remotely. You do not need an account to use database.)
