    Account Management

Your user ID is your 13-digit Library Card number or your 12-character eCard number (including PACREG).

Your password or PIN is your 4-digit birth year.

Manage your account online through our catalog.

    Library Card Policies

    Patron Association

Have someone pick up the holds on your account by creating a Patron Association. To set up, bring the person you’d like to have access to your holds and both your Library cards to the Library. A Library Associate will set up the connection on your accounts.

    Parental Responsibilities

A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a child under 16 up for their own Library card. A parent or legal guardian’s ID and documentation will be used to make the child’s card.

The parents or legal guardians of the child under 16 are responsible for the fees associated with that Library card.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for what a child under 16 checks out with their Library card. The Library does not provide restrictions of any kind on the items a child under 16 can check out with their Library card.

    Confidentiality

Per Florida Statute 257.261, Library registration and circulation records are confidential.

    Expiration/Renewals

Library cards expire every 2 years for full-service cards and every year for other card types. Visit a Library branch with a current photo ID and the required documents (according to your card type, above) to renew.

    Alternatives to Library Cards

Use the cloudLibrary app as a digital Library Card you can scan from your phone.

Registered cardholders can also check out materials with a driver’s license.

    Lost Items

Items checked out for more than 30 days without renewal will be assumed lost and charged the full replacement cost listed in the catalog.

If the item is returned in good condition, lost fees will be waived.

Patrons who have paid for lost items that are later found can request a refund of the lost fee. Bring the item and the original receipt to the Library within 30 days of payment. Osceola County Board of County Commissioners will mail the patron a check for the lost fee.
