The Osceola Library System will be hosting digital literacy workshops throughout the month of February!
Each workshop will help you build skills and confidence with technology! Topics that are going to be discussed are: cybersecurity, mobile phone basics, and much more!
These workshops are free and open to the public. Class participants will be entered in an end of the month raffle for prizes.
Tech Workshops at Branch Locations

- Email Basics – 11am, Saturday, Feburary 22
- Conceptos Básicos de Internet – 6:30pm, Wednesday, February 12 & 26
- Conceptos Básicos del Correo Electrónico – 10am, Saturday, February 15
Veterans Memorial Library – St. Cloud Branch
- Mobile Device Basics: Android – 11am, Saturday, February 8
- Mobile Device Basics: iOS – 6:30pm, Tuesday, February 18
- Cybersecurity Basics – 10am, Saturday, February 22
Tech Workshops at Intercession City
The Library will also be hosting digital literacy workshops at the Intercession City Civic Center (1531 Imokalee Street, Intercession City, Florida).
The time and date for the classes are:
- Email Basics – 11am, Saturday, February 5 and 6:30pm, Wednesday, February 26
The Library is among the 215 public libraries nationwide awarded funding by the Public Library Association this year to conduct digital literacy workshops using the DigitalLearn resources. The PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T, provides support to libraries of all sizes to conduct workshops using DigitalLearn training materials on up to 8 topics designed to help patrons build skills and confidence using technology.
