Arte Bajo la Sombrilla / Art Under the Umbrella – 12pm, Saturday, December 7

  • Highly skilled artisans from Osceola and neighboring counties display their original artwork, showcasing paintings, jewelry, and other unique handcraft items. Cultural entertainment will round out the day. Presented by Tertulia Cuatro Gatos.

  • Celebrate this unique and cherished Icelandic tradition known as the Christmas Book Flood. Discover the cultural origins of Jolabokaflod while enjoying a free book to read with friends and family along with a sweet treat.

The Mom Community: The MomCo – 6pm, Thursday, December 19

  • Let’s face it – motherhood is tough, especially in the early years. The days are long and the years are short. The Mom Community or The MomCo is for every mom from her first pregnancy through her last child finishing kindergarten.

    The MomCo groups offer community and encouragement during this season of motherhood. Not sure what to expect? The MomCo meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations, and videos. More importantly, you’ll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.

West Osceola Library
