The Osceola Library System offers downloadable music through the Freegal Music Service!

WARNING:

Freegal Music may contain lyrics, album and song titles, and artist names that are explicit.

*Your library card account must be in good standing. Blocked or expired accounts cannot access this service.

Download Limit

Current limits are set at three downloads per week. Your counter will set back to zero each week, Monday morning. Then you can download three more tunes during the new week.

Click and Save

When you're ready to download a track, click the "Download Now" link, select Save at the prompt, and designate where you want to save the song. Anytime you click on the "Download now" link, even if you cancel the download, the download counts toward your weekly allotment.

Recent Downloads

Once in a while, your Internet connection may be interrupted or time out and you might experience an incomplete or problem download. Freegal Music allows you to download previously downloaded songs again, without using up one of your weekly downloads.

Searching

Use the Smart Search box for suggestions when you know the name of the album, artist, or song. As you type into the search box, a list of possible artist names, track names, or album names drop down from the search tool. Click on one of the suggestions to access tracks from just that artist. If you type in a word and hit enter without selecting a suggestion, the search results will include anything that has that word in the track, name, or album.

Apps

Freegal Mobile Applications are available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for Android. Once you have downloaded the App onto your mobile device, the first thing you will see upon opening the App is a search box for libraries. Enter your home zip code, and a list will appear of current subscribing libraries within a 60 mile radius.

You can also enter in the name of your library (example: St Cloud Library) or the city in which your library's main branch is located (example: Kissimmee). Once you complete this procedure, you will see a list of libraries to choose from. Choose the Osceola Library System. Use your 13-digit library card number and pin number to log in (the default pin is changeme). Browse by Artist, Song, or Genre and enjoy!
